Walk through the streets of La Candelaria, Bogota’s historic district’s featuring colonial architecture and attractions such as the Botero Museum, the Colon Theater,
the Chorro de Quevedo and the Eje Ambiental. The next destination of the tour will be the Gold Museum, home to the world’s largest pre-Hispanic gold work collection.
Continue to the Monserrate Sanctuary’s famous pilgrimage site, by funicular (railway) or cable car. Rising 3,152 meters (average of 10,341 feet) above sea level with views of capital. Make a brief stop to learn how emeralds are made.
