Bogotá, established on August 6th, 1538 by Spanish conqueror Gonzalo Jimenez de Quesada is the political, administrative and economic center of the country. It’s located at 2600 meters above sea level on an extensive and fertile high plain surrounded by mountains. Bogotá has a population of over six million in habitants.

Traditionally has been called, The Entry Door to South America, for its strategic location in the continent.
